Since Safari doesn't support OpenSearch, below is a complete tutorial of how to use HexoSearch with the safari plugin - Inquisitorl .
How to use HexoSearch in Safari after installed Inquisitor
1. After open the safari preference window. Tick the "Display links to additional search engines" box and click the "Edit Sites..." button.
2. Click the "+" button located on the bottom left corner.
3. Choose "New custom search shortcut..." option.
4. Input "HexoSearch" in the "Site Name" column and "http://www.hexosearch.com/se/result.aspx?zqz=%@" in the "URL" column.
5. Now you can type your keyword in the search box, and select HexoSearch from the drop list to access our search result.
